Naked simulated AI people ("peeps") arrive and flow across the terrain. Capitalism, ideology, critical race theory, anything really. I also appreciate Ian Cheng's Emissaries series , but dislike its mystification of AI as fantasy novel lore. It's a zoomed out perspective, it's not immersive, it's a simulation.
