Hello, I am new to Cocos Creator, and I found it very easy to get started with. However there is a major issue. Shaders are virtually missing from the documentation. I am posting this as a request for Cocos to have somebody on the team, a technical artist preferably, to write up the shaders documentation, with sample codes important. The section on shaders is incomplete, therefore its unusable.
Hi guys, I installed Cocos Creator 3.8.4 yesterday and encountered a very confusing problem. I have a little experience with Unity but Im new to Cocos. I created an empty 3D project and tried to make a shooter game. Bullets are created on a shoot point, traveling to the front of the shoot point. The bullets have a cylinder collider and a rigibody attached to each, where useGravity is off and the type is dynamic. isTrigger for the collider is also off.

Hello All, Im happy that Cocos Creator comes with a 3D facility, but I couldnt find many documents or tutorials specifically for 3D visualization. My requirement is very simple and straightforward. Im working on an educational training platform, where I need to load a GLB file and display annotation text (with lines) on it. For example, I want to show human anatomy and label all the parts accordingly.
So, actually I havent tested this and so Im not marking this as the solution, but it seems I can call browser code directly from the scripts. Thats a big ups.
So the other day I was testing out this engine, and I found it irritating that the buttons were blocking my input. What if my game requires the feature where the button shouldnt block input?
Im answering immediately because I discovered the solution, so Im posting this here. Just dispatch a custom event from onClick of the button that is listened to by the objects that shouldnt be blocked for onTouch events.
