According to Game File , the complaint was filed last Friday with the National Labor Relations Board, claiming a "Refusal to Bargain/Bad Faith Bargaining" as workers have been trying to reach an agreement with the studio since unionising via the Communication Workers of America in 2022.

PTW says the acquisition will expand its co-development services and enable Ghostpunch to "offer new AI-based QA automation offerings." The all-cash deal is expected to be completed in early September. You're generally right. It's expensive to have people traveling, so they usually reserve it for the executive and studio head levels. Those folks do the bulk of the traveling since they're the ones who need to meet with people from multiple studios - usually to see project progress, ask questions, and get answers. Being in the studio means that the people representing the studio can pull in other studio workers and subject experts as needed to answer specific questions.
