A mirror. What fascinates me most about the video game industry is how, as huge as its grown, it lacks the institutions of other industries. Video games are a global industry with a massive and growing fan base that sells hundreds of billions of dollars of our wares a year. We can't stop pointing out that we're bigger than film and music combined. Because we're very insecure.

There’s nothing that annoys me more than high ping, and the connection failed error in The Finals, and even in other games as well. Unfortunately, most of the time, these issues don’t have a permanent solution. You can try to change your ISP as I did but the amount of time it takes doesn’t make it worth it. Thus, you can try all of the solutions I featured in this comprehensive guide, as they helped me and many veteran gamers to deal with the connection problems and high ping.

Which is working fine in Android mobile Chrome versions released earlier than 120.x; but after the update to Android mobile Chrome browser version 120.x, it is not working properly, it’s gameplay screen is flickering where we have used spine animations ( Spine version 3.8) and also compressed the images using TinyPng.

I discovered that the audio was not working properly while playing The Finals. I usually play with my volume on low since I can still hear my opponents in other games, but with this game, even turning it up to high didn’t completely fix the problem. Fortunately, after searching on various forums and asking some veteran gamers, I’ve managed to fix the issue, so I compiled a list of the most efficient solutions for me.

In this lesson we will examine how our dependencies can observe and invoke events. Overview Sometimes a dependency will need to interact with other dependencies. In many cases this will be an explicit interaction such as when one system needs to directly manage the interplay of actions and reactions with their various exceptions to the rules. In other cases, the dependency will merely need to know that its state, or an action it takes, should be “observable” The observation should be

I thought I was the only one, but I’ve observed that many others have had high CPU usage when playing The Finals. Some even complained that their computer’s CPU was overheating. Fortunately, mine did not overheat. However, the usage rate was constantly at 100%. However, this is not the first time I’ve run across this problem, especially with a new game, and I managed to fix it by using some methods I learned years ago from gaming veterans.

I am looking for candidates who can show me that they can do the work.

Hello, Currently, I’m implementing service workers to execute some multithreaded tasks. I could not find official documentation on how to implement / handle service workers inside the engine and I would have some questions on how to proceed with them: How should we implement workers within the game? Are there any security or usage limitations? How should we setup the worker in the preview mode?

“why do you need a custom build of cocos?” I like this question. Because this is the point being open source game engine. Developer has access to develop new features that never made before such as full screen, aspect ratio fitter, 3d audio source and in my case, I wanna improve preview simulator.

Met the same problem, also using cocos creator 3.7.2 When I try printing out the created nodes, it says prefab: {state: 0, …}, while nodes created by dragging has prefab: {state: 2, …} addition: The code I used is let createdUuid = await Editor.Message.request("scene", "create-node", {parent: someUuid, assetUuid: prefabUuid, unlinkPrefab: false}) I tried the same thing on 3.7.4 and 3.8.1, problem still exists.
