Naughty Dog is laying off at least 25 developers this month with no severance, according to a Kotaku report. Citing two sources familiar with the situation, the outlet said the cuts are coming from the studio's contractor workforce, and do not include full-time employees. While the layoffs span a variety of departments, most of the people losing work are coming from the QA team.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, the company is currently operating with just two full-time employees, having laid off fourteen during the summer and another two leaving voluntarily.

The original developer of Hatoful Boyfriend has accused Epic Games of not paying royalties on the game for the past two years. In the wake of layoffs at Epic that impacted the studio behind the Hatoful Boyfriend HD remake Mediatonic, developer Hato Moa posted condolences on social media for "the lovely, talented people" from the studio, adding that Epic has not paid royalties on the game since it acquired Mediatonic in 2021.

As with full games, the IARC will assign a rating from E for everyone to a maximum of Teen. Epic says these will be prominently displayed in order to help parents better understand the content their children have access to through Fortnite.

Twitch has laid off employees for the second time this year. Today's cuts were reported by Today Off Stream's Zach Bussey , who said the cuts were significantly smaller than the March round, which included more than 400 people. A source familiar with the situation told GamesIndustry.biz that today's layoffs were limited to the customer experience organization as the company shifts to rely more on outsourcing vendors to fulfill those roles.

New York-based developer Dang is shutting down. The five-person team behind the 2021 first-person shooter Boomerang X posted a note to social media yesterday announcing the disbanding of the team. "Dang is closing up shop," the studio said. "Unfortunately we were not able to find funding for our next game and we are out of money.

Hello there! I did some hardcore Google-ing to discover the mathematical formula to obtaining the distance between one 3D point to another. Then I converted it to Typescript for you: Square(value: number): number { return value * value; } Distance(from: Vec3, to: Vec3) { return Math.sqrt( this.Square(from.x - to.x) + this.Square(from.y - to.y) + this.Square(from.z - to.z) ); } I tested the formula in another programming language and it checked out perfect, so I know the math is correct.
