Embracer has sold Saber Interactive for $247 million. As announced by the firm in a statement published today, it has agreed to divest selected assets from Saber to Beacon Interactive, a new company founded by Saber's co-founder Matthew Karch. Saber will retain a number of studios as part of the sale, including: Nimble Giant, 3D Realms, Sandbox Strategies, New World Interactive, Slipgate, Mad Head Games, Fractured Byte, and DIGIC.

Grom Social Enterprises has announced the acquisition of studio Arctic7. The terms of the acquisition weren't disclosed but the announcement clarified that Arctic7 will operate as a division within Grom. The argument tends to break down if you poke at it. A single purchasable asset is never atomic - the purchased item is comprised of many parts like the 3D model, the diffuse textures, normal map, occlusion map, any other materials, rigging, animations, shaders, and so on. The vast majority of assets can't be dragged and dropped into a new game without some changes made to some of those elements in order to make sure the finished asset looks right within the new game.

Getting these multiple errors in xcode. Steps followed :- I made a hello world project with Cocos Creator 2.4.12 and build it using cocos. When I opened the project in xcode 14.1 and build it then I got the error regarding arm64 Then I added arm64 in excluded architecture in build settings of project. I’m talking about when using Canvas-UIs in 2D scenes, there is no other way to change Z order of elements besides moving the nodes up and down of their Node hierarchy.
