Maria here again! A few years ago I picked up some copies of Exit: The Game at the store because I absolutely love Exit Rooms. Like, LOVE Exit rooms. When I saw that there was a board game version, I promptly grabbed a few for us to try out. Fast forward a year and we still hadn’t played one. It wasn’t until after I was recovering from an injury where we finally decided to bust one out for a date night.
Introduction. Hello! bruvzg here, I got hired by the Godot team to work on the complex text layouts and BiDi aware UI implementation. This is the first part that focuses on TextServer API implementation. See GH-1180 , GH-1181 , GH-1182 , GH-1183 on GitHub for detailed information on CTL proposals and feedback. Currently, text display in Godot Engine is extremely limited, text is drawn character-by-character, left-to-right without kerning and support for any other font features.
This analysis is written by two unassuming Township players, Buğrahan Göker and Michail Katkoff. Playrix is one of the powerhouses in the puzzle genre thanks to Gardenscapes and Homescapes’ current success. And while those two titles dominate the top charts, Playrix road to the top started a long time ago with a non-assuming little game know as Township.
Maria here again! If you are new here, my name is Maria, and I am Brandon’s wife! You can read my first post here. Brandon is humoring me with a mini game blog series where I give you MY perspective on board games. Last week, I received Marrying Mr. Darcy. This week, it’s Terraforming Mars. (That’s right – I’ve got range!). Need help on your board game?
The Video Game History Foundation is working to save the history of the making of video games. On Oct 30th they are doing a live stream special event to help raise money and I'll be a guest talking about the making of Monkey Island where you can ask me questions (as long as it's not about the secret because after 30 years I've completely forgotten what it was).

Howdy Godotters! It's-a me! Fabio! It is time for an update on the Godot export for the Web. In the last few months, a lot has been going on regarding the Godot export for the Web. Most of the enhancements mentioned in the previous report have now been merged into the master branch, and backported to 3.2 (included in 3.2.4 beta 1 ). This sadly does not yet include the virtual keyboard support, since implementing it without impacting the experience on touchscreen-enabled devices that also have a
Introduction. Hi, I’m Febucci and I’ve created this package to help having a clearer Hierarchy in Unity, organizing everything in a “tree view” and including extra informations like Components Icons and groups/divisors. I have a lot of gameObjects in each scene of my current game and I started getting lost in the default Unity Hierarchy. That’s why I’ve spent a lot of time making this little plugin and now I’m super happy to share it with you, for free !
Maria here! Last week , I shared with you games I played during my formative years, and how those games made an impact on my taste in boardgames as an adult. When I wrote the post, I was actually making dinner (multi-tasking FTW) and enjoying reminiscing about the days of old. I wasn’t expecting to discover the impact those childhood games made on my preferences as an adult.

Godot 3.2.3 was released a month ago and the reception was great! It focused mostly on fixing bugs and therefore we were somewhat conservative on what could be merged before the release. Now that we're confident that 3.2.3 works well, we can take some time to add new features to the 3.2 branch while you wait for Godot 4.0 :). This first beta build already includes a number of them which have been worked on by core contributors, with notable mentions to: Android App Bundle and subview embedding s

Hey there, everyone! My name is Maria. I feel like the Goldilocks of boardgames. I don’t want to play a game that is too intense (no offense, Dominion ), I don’t want a game that is too easy (I’ll only play Go Fish with my 3-year-old niece). Instead, I find myself somewhere in the middle when it comes time to picking out a game. Part of this is because of my early years growing up with board games.
