Godot 3.4 was released 2 months ago , and some of the major planned features for Godot 3.5 have since been merged and are now ready for wider testing. So we're starting the beta testing phase with this already significant set of changes, and we'll have frequent beta builds to polish them for the stable release. Some more features are still being worked on and will be included in future beta builds.
Hey all I’m back with the sequel to one of my more enjoyed novel’s this past year for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s Fushi no Kami Volume 02 by Amakawa Mizuumi! Plot: The plot picks up shortly after the last entry with Ash and Maika headed to the local city where they attend the local academy and continue Ash’s plans to regain the comforts of his past life.
Puzzle Strike 2’s base set includes 10 characters and two different community banks decks. Each bank deck changes the feel of the game. Those decks are Grand Melee and Birthday Bash: In this article, I’ll explain the thinking behind the Grand Melee deck. Think of Birthday Bash as a steak with a distinctive steak sauce, while Grand Melee doesn’t need the sauce; it allows the natural flavor of the meat to come through.
(This is a humor piece I wrote a long time ago. It is objectionable. Posting this is part of an experiment. The second part comes out next week.) As anyone who has been paying attention knows, the most important single element holding American culture together is serial killers. Those crafty fellows are everywhere, with their wily ways, their suave manner, and their masks made of skin.
Welcome to a new Godot showcase developer interview to start off the new year! This time, we asked Justin Arnold about his experience developing and releasing his project RPG in a Box. This "engine within an engine" demonstrates that Godot is not only capable for game development, but also for creating applications with complex user interfaces.
[This is a continuation of content found in the book, Dynamic Story Scripting with the ink Scripting Language , featured in Chapter 11 and Chapter 12]. When working with ink, it can be tempting to make an entire project one long file. This can often lead to thousands of lines of ink code and complications with debugging. Trying to find the exact place where a problem is happening can be incredibly frustrating.
It is no mystery that the goal of any film is to make the viewer believe in the fictional world on the screen. Of course, this is not true of documentary films, but believe us, there are genres of documentaries that blur the line between fiction and reality. But we'll talk about that some other time. The fact is that we don't even think about the path that each film takes during production.

Hey all I’m back for this week’s Anime Sunday with a look at the upcoming season. It’s my Most Anticipated Winter 2022 Anime! Pupil of the Wise Man: So I was expecting this to air last season, as you might have noticed in my post a few months back, but it turns out I missed the announcement of it being set to air this season instead. This is a delightfully fun Isekai/LitRPG series that has a gender-bent main character because he wanted to make the “Cutest” avatar ever with a RMT item he had on a
Hello! It's January 2022. Though I haven't been updating the blog, that doesn't mean I wasn't presenting or doing interviews. After SXSW and CIMFest , I participated in two MCM London Comic Con panels, "The Art of the Onomatopoeia" and "Creating Diverse Characters for Comics and More." I presented at SIEGE and Serious Play Conferences and was interviewed by Women in Games and Negocios TV.
In this Youtube short, I share with you resources to help you integrate Multi-Player Gaming Support into your game or game engine. Thanks for watching.

We just released a small update for SFS2X 2.18 that addresses a bug and a couple minor issues we’ve found. You can read the release notes and proceed with the download from here. Please note : the patch requires SFS2X 2.18.0 to be already installed.
HERE THERE BE SPOILERS. Prodigy steps into the vacuum left by Discovery ’s hiatus, and offers us a tantalizing glimpse into what might be the season’s endgame. However, what I liked most about the episode was how it used the Kobayashi Maru exam. The Maru has a long and storied history in Trek , first appearing in The Wrath of Khan and then playing a significant role in 2009’s Star Trek.
