Normally our Beta 1 release notes summarize all the most exciting changes from the previous dev releases. GH-94783 ) Change NavigationMesh to also parse collision shapes by default. You can now export typed dictionaries from scripts and benefit from a much improved Inspector UX to assign the right keys and values.
Revamped collision layer grid in the inspector. Example original mesh (40K vertices): Simplified convex hull of that mesh (56 vertices): Revamped collision layer grid in the inspector. The layer grid widget has been improved to be more readable and support up to 32 collision layers in physics. Dynamic BVH for Godot Physics 2D.
See this demonstration made by MewPurPur : Improved ColorPicker UX ( GH-62910 ). The second part of her work has just been merged, and should significantly improve the ColorPicker’s UX. GUI: Improve ColorPicker UX ( GH-62910 ). Particles: Adds amount property to collision sub particles ( GH-66349 ). Requires.NET SDK 6.0

In this third mode, I implemented a dedicated editor for tile shapes (collision shapes, occluders, naviagation shapes). This allows setting up tile collisions in a very fast way: Since my previous implementation of panning was not working great in the atlas editor, I reworked it a little bit. What's next.
My goal here is to improve the UX of working with tiles, making it both easier to use and more powerful. This is the base work needed before implementing again all other features, like collisions, occlusion, etc. As you may already know, I now have been hired for a month to work on the TileMap and TileSet editors.
Physics: Many fixes to one-way collisions. Fixes to KinematicBody collisions. Cylinder collision shape for GodotPhysics. Many fixes to one-way collisions. One-way collisions prior to Godot 3.3 Fixes to KinematicBody collisions. Cylinder collision shape for GodotPhysics. Rendering: Unified 2D batching.

our contributor Yuri Roubinsky did a huge rework of the new visual shader's UX , and eventually assumed full maintainership of the feature. Gilles Roudiere did another pass at improving UX based on user feedback, with a pull request improving the anchors and margin workflow. For Godot 3.2, Many more features.
