Hi GameDev! I’m working on a game in my spare time that I’m pretty happy with. It’s a 3d platformer with low poly graphics. I’m releasing a demo on itch tomorrow for Halloween. Would it be weird to share my game with other indies and YouTubers who do 3d platformers? I’m a nobody, but I’d love to get feedback from other people who love 3d platformers.

Ask a Game Dev

It would not be weird at all. I would try to get your game in front of as many people as you can, get all the feedback you can, and do what you can to improve your game. Get your friends to play it, get your family to play it, get as many people as you can to play it. And then ask them about how they feel about it, what could be improved, how to make things better.
