A public campaign to prevent publishers from pulling online support from video games in a way that makes them unplayable has prompted a response from the UK government. The Stop Killing Games campaign organised a petition on the government's website , which passed the 10,000 signatories needed to secure a response. The statement added below the petition was attributed to the Department of Culture, Media & Sport.

Starbreeze has announced today that its CFO Mats Juhl will be appointed as its new interim CEO. Juhl will fulfill his role when the process to hire a permanent CEO for the developer is completed. Hitman and Project 007 developer IO Interactive has hired Ulas Karademir as its new chief technical officer. The appointment marks Karademir's return to the studio, having ended a seven-year stint at IO back in 2014. In the years since, he has been working at Unity, where he held the role of vice president for core engineering, graphics, operations and productions, and RealityOS, where he most recently worked as general manager and chief product officer.
