This feature being implemented at the core of the engine means that all scripting languages (GDScript, C#, C++) can take advantage by interfacing with Godots Dictionary type. You can now export typed dictionaries from scripts and benefit from a much improved Inspector UX to assign the right keys and values.

Terminal-based engines don’t behave like a normal gameengine where you have individual windows represented essentially as images layered on top of one another and their contents can therefore be scaled individually.

We have several different gameengines, each competing really robustly. Whereas on Android, you have to go through this incredibly complicated series of screens, some Epic explaining what to do on the next screen and then some designed by… Google has awesome UX designers. There are a bunch of these disconnected systems.
In no other company other than games do you need both. You need the UX to work. It's only the game industry that requires this very complex thing, which is why I think most of the game companies fail because they can't create that match. or experimentation or insights or data or gameengine or whatever.
