5 Steps to Book Your Own Freight for Your Board Game Kickstarter

Brand Game Development

Much like how Expedia didn’t eliminate travel agents from the job market, freight marketplaces won’t eliminate freight brokers from the job market either. Freight marketplaces are merely an attractive alternative to hiring a broker. If you want somebody to take care of freight entirely on your behalf, then it still makes sense to hire a freight broker.

“La La La – I can’t hear you!’

The Art of the Game

After going through Demo Day for Launch Pad (and getting more than a little bummed about not getting a dev grant) I’ve decided to throw myself back into working on my game – which has been neglected for far too long. Marketing might not pay off immediately, but jumping into something created by my own 2 hands pays off now … Except when you try to work, your wife – who is also working from home – gets slammed with an absolute Suez Canal sized shipping container of wo

What To Do Immediately After Your Kickstarter Launches – A Checklist

Brand Game Development

In the aviation business, pilots go through a series of tasks at the beginning of every flight. It’s called the preflight checklist and it all happens before the plane ever leaves the tarmac. The idea is to ensure safety and make sure that nothing is accidentally left undone. Other industries could definitely benefit from the checklist mentality, and I consider crowdfunded board games to be among them.

Apple and Privacy

Grumpy Gamer

If Apple really cared about iOS privacy they would give the user to ability to block any app from reaching the internet. A lot of the iOS apps I used have no need to ping the internet but they all do to gather metrics and do who-knows-what. Rather than create a complex and unenforceable privacy policy Apple should just let users block the app from using the internet.
