Custom Post Processing in Unity URP

Febucci

At the moment (URP 12.1.5, May 2022) there is no easy way to have custom Post Processing effects in Unity’s URP working with Volumes. The URP Roadmap says that it’s “in progress”, but even if this has been the case for a while now, we do have some features that can help us manually achieve the same result anyways (similar to the previous Post Processing Stack V2).

Release candidate: Godot 3.5 RC 1

Mircosoft Game Dev

It's now time to move to the Release Candidate stage so that we can release 3.5-stable for all users. At this stage we need people to test this release (and potential follow-up RCs) on as many codebases as possible, to make sure that we catch non-obvious regressions that might have gone unnoticed

Filmustage

James Cameron began his career in 1974 and has never stopped amazing the film industry and the public with spectacular movies. His first films were warmly received by the public, as evidenced by the box office. In 1984 "The Terminator" was released, which deservedly awarded Cameron the title of a master of sci-fi action films. Comparing.obj parse libraries

The Astronauts

Wavefront.obj file format is a funny one. Similar to GIF, it’s a format from the 1990s, that absolutely should not be widely used anymore, yet it refuses to go away. Part of the appeal of OBJ is relative simplicity, I guess. In the previous blog post I asked myself a question, “is this new Blender OBJ parsing code even good?" Which means, time to compare it with some other existing libraries for parsing Wavefront OBJ files.

Logjam as mourning wood

Radiator Blog

Logjam by Robert Yang Logjam is the latest in my gay sexuality series -- a short small game about a middle aged lumberjack daddy processing wood and other hard things. It's about forestry, masculinity, and history, but on a surface level it's a simple work simulator with a burly stripper and occasional twists. CONTENT WARNING: Some of the screenshots have some CG nudity in them.
