Math it Right 3D Adventure, the Background Story

Jaunty Bear Games

Early one morning, a dragon was running through the town center, jumping over the puddles of water and burping nervously. The small green dragon, whose name is Pilipili, had sky blue spikes on his back that stood tall like mountains, tiny purple wings that didn’t help him fly at all! Big round eyes and a large smile covered his face. Pilipili was late for an important mission.

Plot: The plot is pretty basic, it’s a standard “The Hero’s Journey” with the big draw of this series being that every character can either use a fantastic ability or can transform into a creature. Accelerate your Game Design, Development and Build with Unity Asset Store

Jaunty Bear Games

There are many aspects to consider when building a game. This requires a lot of knowledge, skills and time to build and integrate all the components. Fortunately the Unity 3D platform has a great selection of packages and assets to accelerate the build of tools, models, shaders, sound effects, animations etc. For the development of Math it Right 3D Adventure I’ve used the following Unity packages.

The Knights of Unity

Introduction. Oftentimes, we ask ourselves the question, how do we want to store data in Unity? There is a high probability that you wanted to create a database and make it editable with ease for either a developer or a designer. Introducing GDNative's successor, GDExtension

Mircosoft Game Dev

In the past month, the team has been hard at work introducing the new native extensions system for Godot 4.0. GDExtension is a new implementation of the GDNative layer that allows the creation of compiled plugins for the engine. At its core, GDExtension is a C API that enables registration of classes implemented within a dynamic library. This allows dynamic libraries to be used by Godot in a way that is much better integrated than its predecessor, GDNative.

Cryptocurrency, NFTs and pay-to-earn: the new world or a gigantic Ponzi scam?

Gamesbrief

Twice in my career, I have been at the forefront of massive change. In 2000 , I was an Internet analyst at Deutsche Bank advising middle-aged men (and they were all men) on how this new nerdy Internet thing was going to change the world. It was three months before the dotcom crash. Valuations were stratospheric. It was possible to believe, as I did, that the Internet was a fundamental change to how the world worked AND that the majority of stocks were overvalued.

I, Excretus: That’s One Way to Rig a Score

Game Industry News

HERE THERE BE SPOILERS. Nothing unifies Mariner and Captain Freeman as readily as a common enemy, and this week we certainly get that in “ I, Excretus ,” which ostensibly pits the Lower Deckers against the bridge crew to test their competence. The episode’s twist doesn’t come as much of a surprise for anyone who’s seen “ Bem ,” the TAS episode that gave us the Pandronians in 1974, but seeing Mariner and Freeman once again join forces is always satisfying.
