Movie Monday: Legally Blonde 2

Game Industry News

Hey all I’m back with the sequel to the movie I covered last time. It’s Legally Blonde 2! Plot: The plot is incredibly bad, with Elle travelling to D.C. to lobby for Dog’s Rights, because her chihuahua’s mother, Bruiser, is being experimented on. Honestly this is easily one of the worst sequels I’ve ever seen. Casting: Reese Witherspoon is once again Elle, and we see some familiar faces from the previous movie.

Cryptocurrency, NFTs and pay-to-earn: the new world or a gigantic Ponzi scam?

Gamesbrief

Twice in my career, I have been at the forefront of massive change. In 2000 , I was an Internet analyst at Deutsche Bank advising middle-aged men (and they were all men) on how this new nerdy Internet thing was going to change the world. It was three months before the dotcom crash. Valuations were stratospheric. It was possible to believe, as I did, that the Internet was a fundamental change to how the world worked AND that the majority of stocks were overvalued.

Introducing GDNative's successor, GDExtension

Mircosoft Game Dev

In the past month, the team has been hard at work introducing the new native extensions system for Godot 4.0. GDExtension is a new implementation of the GDNative layer that allows the creation of compiled plugins for the engine. At its core, GDExtension is a C API that enables registration of classes implemented within a dynamic library. This allows dynamic libraries to be used by Godot in a way that is much better integrated than its predecessor, GDNative.
